Uncovering China’s latest Tyre Trade Center and Rubber Industry Hub

Qingdao City – a leading city within the Shandong Province accounts for 52% of the total tyre production in China. Tyre exports amount up to 50% of China’s total tyre exports. Qingdao is home to at least half of China’s leading tyre brands and has the second largest port, Qingdao Port which accounts for billions of tons of exports annually. As such, Qingdao City has established itself as an international and domestic tyre trading centre and rubber industry hub.

China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Qingdao, China United Rubber Corporation (CURC) and the Tyrexpo Asia 2017 organising team have decided to jointly set up the Qingdao Pavilion. Launched for the first time, the Qingdao Pavilion brings an exhibition area of 126 square metres and an exhibitor mix of 14 tyre enterprises. As part of the marketing outreach, exhibitors in the Qingdao Pavilion also enjoys great promotional efforts and onsite advertising exposure.
